The Magnuson-Moss rule that every Alabama homeowner should know

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (federal law, 15 U.S.C. §2301) prohibits manufacturers from conditioning a warranty on the use of a specific contractor unless they provide that contractor's services for free.
