Cooling-first because Birmingham demands it.
Birmingham Heating & Air-Conditioning exists to make AC repair, emergency cooling, heating, and commercial HVAC service easier to understand across the Greater Birmingham metro.
License and entity clarity.
HVAC service is provided by owner John King through Your Heat & Air Guy, AL HVAC License #2013125, EPA 608, licensed since 2013. The license information is published clearly so homeowners and property managers know who stands behind the work.
Straight answers before approved work.
Customers get clear diagnostic findings, practical repair or replacement options, and a written scope before approved work begins. Service pages explain common failures and what a written estimate should include.
Who You Are Actually Hiring
Here is something most HVAC websites never tell you: whose license is behind the truck. Ours is right here. Owner John King holds Alabama HVAC License #2013125 and has been licensed since 2013, with EPA 608 for refrigerant work. You can look the license up yourself. We would rather you check than take our word for it. More on the owner and the contractor entity is on the Your Heat & Air Guy page.
How a Service Call Works
Look, nobody enjoys calling an HVAC company. You are worried about the bill and about being upsold. So here is exactly how it goes:
- You call (205) 649-4480 and tell us what the system is doing.
- We diagnose first. Measure, test, and find the actual fault.
- You get the finding and the price in writing before any work starts.
- You decide. Repair, replace, or wait. If it is safe to wait, we will say so.
On every gas furnace call, we check for carbon monoxide first. That part is not optional.
What We Work On
